Partners With iLoop Mobile to Promote Optical
Code Scanning Technology In Marketing Campaigns
Customers to use camera phones to
easily access mobile Internet sites
SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA, (September 13, 2006) –iLoop
Mobile, a leader in mobile application software,
today announced that Nextcode, a leader in optical
barcode scanning technology, is teaming with iLoop
Mobile to deliver WAP based mobile content and
marketing campaigns using Nextcode’s mCode
ConnexTo™ software.
The ConnexTo Code Creation and Code Reading software
by Nextcode has been paired with iLoop Mobile’s
content management platform to allow content owners
to embed WAP-based mobile internet addresses into
2D codes. Consumers who want to access content
can now use standard camera phones to quickly
and easily link straight to content. ConnexTo
uses an advanced new code format called mCode™
specifically designed for camera phones and mobile
services.

Nettwerk is placing Nextcode’s patent-pending
optical recognizable images in promotions, and
in-store advertising, and tour posters for the
hit band, Barenaked Ladies. Consumers can take
a picture of the image with their cell phones
to launch the Barenaked Ladies mobile internet
site. The iLoop Mobile hosted mobile site will
provide Nettwerk customers the latest news, content
and ability to purchase exclusive “mobile
only” content.
